Lauren Gutierrez earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Arizona. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology. She plans to continue her education and pursue her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in Neuropsychology. Lauren has worked as a psychometrist for over 10 years, conducting and scoring neuropsychological evaluations with pediatric, adult and geriatric populations. She was employed as a senior psychometrist by Neuropsychology Ltd. from 2009 until April 2016, at which point the Center for Neurosciences (CNS) took over the company. She stayed on for 2 more years before taking a leave of absence to raise her first child. She began working part-time for A-Z Neuropsychology, LLC in July 2018.

Lauren has also been trained in evidenced-based psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups. She has 2 years of clinical experience conducting individual and group counseling as a master’s extern at Catholic Community Services, and at Intermountain Centers for Human Development as a doctoral intern. She is conversationally fluent in Spanish. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time at her home and in her garden, with her son and husband. She practices yoga and meditation, enjoys hiking the mountains surrounding Tucson, and loves vacationing to the beach in Rocky Point.
